Counter intelligence and city police are verifying the CC TV camera
footage of shops and business establishments covering the streets at Dilshuknagar bomb
blast sites to identify the suspects who parked the cycles with bombs. The explosion was
captured by one of the cameras but cops are still scouting for the suspects. Sources in
home department said ,’we are hoping of getting some information about the suspects in
the CC TV cameras of the shops as nothing about suspects have been found in the traffic
cameras,”
Investigators also collected hard disks from Railway stations of Secunderabad, Nampally
and Kachiguda and bus stations at Imlibun and JBS to scout the videos to find iff any
suspects may have hurriedly entered the station and boarded a train or bus soon after the
blasts who left the bicycles with bombs. The traffic CC TV cameras at Rajiv Chowk of
Dilshuknagar where the bombs went off did not have footage of suspects.
Commissioner of Police Mr. Anurag Sharma said,”it is not true that the wires of the
traffic CCTV cameras are cut at Rajiv Chowk. That particular camera is not covering the
blast site. We are verifying other possible video footage,” Hyderabad Traffic Deputy
Commissioner of Police-1 Mr P V S Ramakrishna said, “the cameras are working and we have
shared the footage,”
Police are collecting the surveillance camera footage from a mobile shop, cloth show room
near the two blasts sites.
